Puttur, Oct 17: Two two-wheelers collided head-on on Friday October 16 afternoon at Parladka Road here. Tragically, one of the riders was killed in this accident.
Both the two-wheelers involved with this accident were Honda Activa scooters. Abdul Jaleel (24), employed in a private firm in the town and a native of Sampya village, suffered grave injuries in the accident. He passed away when being shifted to a hospital at Mangaluru.
After both the scooter riders suffered critical injuries in this accident, they were provided first aid at the local hospital before arranging to shift them to Mangaluru. The other rider, Rafique from Parladka, nature of whose injuries are also very serious, continues to be treated at Mangaluru hospital.
A case stands registered about the accident in the traffic police station here.
