Pakistan arrests 27 Indian fishermen


Islamabad, Oct 18 (IANS): Pakistani authorities have arrested 27 Indian fishermen on charges of intruding into its territorial waters, Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.

The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency said it also seized their boats for illegal fishing.

India and Pakistan routinely arrest each other's fishermen. They are freed after varying periods of detention.
