Jovovich shares photo of 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' set

Los Angeles, Oct 23 (IANS): Actress Milla Jovovich took to Instagram to tease fans with an on-set photo of the sixth "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter".

The photo features actors Ali Larter and Eoin Macken on a post-apocalyptic set in Cape Town, South Africa, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"On set with @eoincmacken while Paul gives @therealalil some last minute direction before the scene," the 39-year-old actress wrote along with the photograph.

Based on the caption, the picture was taken at night when Larter was given directions by director Paul W.S. Anderson before the camera rolled.

Macken also uploaded some photographs on Instagram, one of which shows some cast members assembling on the set.

The actors spotted in the photograph are Ruby Rose, Larter, Milton Schorr, Jovovich and Fraser James.

Meanwhile, another photo features a foggy area. It was seemingly taken from the same location with Jovovich's photo.

Jovovich reprises her role as Alice, who will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle, with undead hordes and new mutant monsters, to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

The film also stars Larter as Claire Redfield, Iain Glen as Dr. Alexander Isaacs, Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker, Rose as Abigail, Macken as Doc, William Levy as Christian, James as Michael and Japanese model Rola as Cobalt.

The sixth installment of "Resident Evil" movie series will release in US in January 27, 2017.
