Mangaluru, Oct 25: Samastha Kerala Sunni Students Federation (SKSSF) general secretary, Issac Faizi Kukkila, has alleged that activists of Sunni Students Federation (SSF) were behind the recent murder of Muhammed at Kavoor.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday October 24, he stated that Muhammed had been killed in connection with dispute over land. “SKSSF condemns this murder. Muhammed had filed complaint in Kavoor police station about the land dispute. As Muhammed was murdered when he was busy moving between courts and offices, it is clear that SSF activists were behind this gory act,” he stated.

He noted that three persons have been arrested, and two have been spared, even after the children of Muhammed named the accused persons in their complaint. He demanded for the immediate arrest of all the accused and find out the actual cause for this murder. He warned that the district committee of his organization will give call for strong protest in front of the office of the district deputy commissioner, if the officials follow delaying tactics in this case.

Ismail, Ismail Tangal, Nasir, and Muhammed Shariff were present at the press conference.
