Irrfan visits hometwon Jaipur for special campaign


Mumbai, Oct 25 (IANS): Actor Irrfan Khan, who has had a busy year thus far, took some time off from his hectic schedule and went on a two-day sojourn to his hometown Jaipur.

Irrfan, whose films "Talvar" and "Jazbaa" released earlier this month, became the face of a special campaign called Resurgent Rajasthan.

The actor also met Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for the campaign.

"I like the idea of going back to Jaipur. It is my hometown and will always be special for me. Now with the campaign active, I am hoping to make quick visits more often," Irrfan said in a statement.

Irrfan will also be seen in the Hollywood film "Inferno" alongside Tom Hanks. Directed by Ron Howard, the thriller is set to release on October 14 next year.
