Indians in Kabul safe: Official


New Delhi, Oct 26 (IANS): All Indians in Kabul are safe and there are no reports of damage to Indian-owned property in the city in the wake of a devastating earthquake on Monday which had its epicentre in Afghanistan, an Indian embassy official here said.

"There are no reports of casualties or injuries among Indians," the official told IANS on the phone late in the evening.

Attempts were also being made to contact the Indian consulates in Afghanistan to assess the situation, the official added.
