Veteran theatre artist Jugal Kishore cremated


Lucknow, Oct 26 (IANS): Theatre personality and actor Jugal Kishore, who died of a heart attack, was cremated here on Monday.

Hundreds of his avid fans, colleagues and eminent personalities bid a tearful adieu to the 61-year-old actor who died of a heart attack on Sunday.

Kishore, a former director of the Bhartendu Natya Akademi (BNA), was among the front-ranking theatre artists from the city who made it to Bollywood.

He essayed the role of the chief minister in Bollywood flick "Peepli Live".

He also played a role in Salman Khan starrer "Dabangg 2".

With over 25 years of experience of teaching theatre in the country's premier drama school BNA, Kishore endeared himself to the theatre lovers with the intensity of his acting and simple living in real life.
