Togadia lauds Sushma for Geeta's return

Lucknow, Oct 27 (IANS): VHP leader Pravin Togadia on Tuesday lauded External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for the return to India of Geeta, a deaf-and-mute woman after being stranded in Pakistan for years.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader said Geeta's return was made possible only because of the "serious and consistent efforts" of Sushma Swaraj. He called it a "step in the right direction".

Togadia told the media that the government should be more pro-active in responding to ceasefire violations by Pakistan on the Jammu and Kashmir border and give it a befitting reply.
