Dubai: Anil Prakash D`Souza new President of SFX

Dubai, Aug 4: St Francis Xavier Association (SFX Kutam) a group of Mudarangady Parishioners residing in the UAE gathered in Shiv Sagar Restaurant in Bur Dubai to elect the new office bearers for the year 2007 - 2008.

The meeting commenced with a Prayer followed by a welcome note by the outgoing president Kumar Fernandes.

The meeting had a review of all the activities and the good work carried out during the year. Kumar Fernandes thanked the committee and the members for their consistent support during his tenor as president.  

Later in the meeting the new office-bearers for the year 2007 – 2008 were elected.

Anil Prakash D'souza, an active youth from Mudarangady has been unanimously selected as the President of the organization. He has been an active member of this 5 year old association and has taken various responsibilities in the past.

The new president Anil Prakash Dsouza in his key note thanked the ex-president for leading the association in the right direction and all the members for electing him as president. He added, the challenge ahead is to unite all Mudarangady parishioners residing in the UAE and to continue all the good work carried on during the last 5 years. He also requested the committee and the members for their full cooperation and assured them of his best efforts for the unity and continuation of the good work.
 
Micheal D’souza one of the ex president, thanked the outgoing president and wished the new committee success.
 
The meeting also decided to have a family get-together on 26th October 2007, in Winny’s Restaurant in Karama on the occasion of Monti Fest. Further details on this will be made available shortly.
Meeting concluded with a Hymn to thank God.
