Mangalore, Aug 5: The ‘Amma Kanda’ of the Holy Qur'an in Kannada will be released by the Dakshina Kannada Sunni Centre (DKSC) on August 9, stated a press release from the Sunni Guidance Bureau (SGB).on Saturday.
The basic tenet of ‘Amma Kanda’ is such that it can be easily understood by the comman man and there are several things in it that could help society find peace and brotherhood.
The bureau is striving to do its best to build a better society and instill in the youth virtues such as patriotism, religious harmony and social tolerance. The SGB also helps Yatimkhanas (Cheshire Homes), poor students’ hostels, secondary madrassas and schools in different ways.
