Chandigarh, Oct 27 (IANS): Electrical equipment major Havells India on Tuesday announced it will launch electricity distribution boards and their doors for homes from the next year.
"For the first time in the country we are going to introduce distribution boards in January next year that are fast becoming part of one's living room," company vice president A.V. Jagdish told reporters here.
He said the new range of distribution boards offer variants in marble, leather and wooden finish for modern homes, and not only match modern day decor and aesthetics but also offer a unique choice to consumers to buy a distribution box door separately, he added.
These boards will be manufactured in company's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Baddi in Himachal Pradesh's Solan.
Havells India Ltd, a $1.4 billion leading fast moving electrical goods company, has over 28 percent market share in domestic switchgear business.
