Indian restaurant demolished in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Oct 28 (IANS): An Indian restaurant was demolished in Malaysia although it renewed the operating licence every year, the media reported.

The restaurant, in Kuala Lumpur's Ampang district for 16 years, was razed by officers from the district council on August 12, The Star online reported.

Restaurant owner P. Subramanian said he was surprised because he had all the necessary permits from the land office to operate his shop. He has lodged a police complaint.
