Mumbai, Oct 29 (NDTV): A Class 10 boy has been arrested in Mumbai over the suicide of his classmate last week. The 14-year-old girl jumped from her seventh-floor home last week over obscene messages on a fake Facebook account allegedly set up by the boy.
The girl's parents have alleged that the boy had been stalking their daughter.
When they complained to the police recently, the police called the boy to the police station and let him go after a warning.
Angry over the police complaint, the boy allegedly set up a fake Facebook account in the name of the girl and posted obscene messages.
On learning about the Facebook posts, the girl allegedly jumped off her apartment building in Mira Road on October 20.
The boy has been sent to a juvenile home.
