Eastern Railway to run special trains during Chhat Puja


Kolkata, Oct 29 (IANS): To clear the rush of passengers during ensuing Chhat Puja, Eastern Railway will run eight pairs of weekly Jansadharan Chhat Puja special trains between Howrah and Nautanwa and Howrah and Raxaul.

While five pairs of trains will travel between Howrah and Nautanwa, three pairs will traverse the distance between Howrah and Raxaul, an Eastern Railway release said here on Thursday.

The 03067 Howrah-Nautanwa weekly Jansadharan Chhat Puja special trains will leave Howrah on every Sunday between November 1 and 29, at 10.50 p.m. and reach Nautanwa at 10.30 p.m. the next day.

The 03068 Nautanwa-Howrah weekly Jansadharan Chhat Puja special trains will leave Nautanwa on every Monday between November 2 and 30, at 11.45 p.m. and reach Howrah at 8.15 p.m. on the next day.

The 03041 Howrah-Raxaul weekly Jansadharan Chhat Puja special trains will leave Howrah on every Thursday between November 12 and 26 at 10.50 p.m. and reach Raxaul at 04.05 p.m. on the next day.

The 03042 Raxaul-Howrah weekly Jansadharan Chhat Puja special trains will leave Raxaul on every Friday between November 13 and 27 at 7.45 a.m. and reach Howrah at 12.15 p.m. on the next day.
