Eight killed in Pakistan attack


Islamabad, Oct 30 (IANS): At least eight people, including a tribe elder, were killed in a landmine blast and a rocket attack in Pakistan's Balochistan province, a media report said on Friday.

According to sources, the attack was carried out late Thursday in Marwar area, the Daily Times Pakistan reported.

Unidentified armed men targeted the convoy of a tribal elder of the Baloch Marri tribe, the sources said.

The landmine blast was followed by a rocket attack.
