Mangalore, Aug 7: Power supply will be disrupted in some areas in and around the city on the following dates: August 8, August 22, August 29 and September 5 from 9 am to 6 pm due to repair works being undertaken, informed a release from Mangalore Electric Supply Company (MESCOM).

Akashavani, Bejai, Jayanagar, Nethravathi extension, Garodi, Ujjodi, Valancia, Kadri, Karangalpadi, Balmatta, Gurpur, Yeyyadi, Kulshekar, Neermarga, Mangaladevi temple area, Jeppinamogaru, Adyar, Farangipet, Kannur and Merlapadavu are the areas that will be affected.

Power supply to Manjanady, Permannur, Ullal, Kotekar, Someshwar, Uchila, Belman, Amblamogaru, Konaje and nearby areas will be interrupted on Wednesday August 8 from 10 am to 6 pm, as MESCOM will be shifting the power lines on 33 Kv Konaje-Thokkottu line.

The power supply to Gurupura, Kaikamba, Kandavara, Adyapadi, Addur, Ganjimath, Kuppepadavu, Edapadavu, Malali, Muduperar, Kompadavu and Kelinjar villages will be affected on all Mondays and Saturdays from 9 am to 5.30 pm in the month of August and September due to the maintenance work, the release informed.
