Even after so many cases of gold smugglers getting caught, if they have no fear, it is anyone's guess that there is plenty of Gold smuggling going undetected...

It is a syndicate... Many people contribute in smuggling gold and share the profit after the gold enters India though carriers and sold in the Indian Market. We have to salute the good custom officers and reward them. There may be bad custom officers/airport staff who help these smugglers to smuggle gold inside India and get the share once it enters the Indian market.

Brother Shanawaz, the news article doesn't say Kasaragodeans did this. Again, if at all they, how can you generalise all and accuse them smugglers?

You can not ignore the people from coastal district, Kasaragod. The majority of shoppers and business establishments in Mangalore city is of Kasaragodeans and they are the backbone of city' s economic success.

Brothers- All Kasargodeans are not smugglers. But all or more than 95 percent of smugglers caught in Mangalore Airport are Kasargodeans.
