Mangalore, Aug 8: The valedictory ceremony of city zonal level Urdu cultural competitions of minority community schools for the year 2007-08 was held on Tuesday August 7 at Shadi Mahal near Bolar in the city.
The valedictory ceremony was chaired by K Kodandarama, BEO of Mangalore city while prizes were distributed by Hajji B S Basheerr, president of Minority Trawl Boats Fisheries Cooperative Society.
The chief guests were Janab Sayyed Mohammad Hussein, secretary, Mangalore Welfare Association of Bolar, Sumangala Naik, Block Coordinator Mangalore, Kamalaksha, Janab Mohammed Hanif, secretary Urdu School Teachers Association of Dakshina Kannada.
