Chinese bank president held for questioning


Beijing, Nov 3 (IANS): The president of the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) has been detained as part of a corruption investigation, media reported on Tuesday.

President Zhang Yun was absent from the bank's meeting held by an inspection team of the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection on Monday, the Global Times reported.

Several sources have confirmed that Zhang has been taken in connection with investigation in a corruption case.
