Mangalore, Aug 9: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) welcomes people for the celebration of Krishna Janmasthami and Vyasa Pooja Celebrations which would be held on September 4, Premabhakthi Das, president of ISKCON Mangalore told the media persons here on Wednesday August 8.  

The programmes of the day will be celebrated in two venues, he added.

Programme like Darshan and Kirthan will be held on September 4 at Sri Jagannath Mandir near Hotel Woodlands in the city from 4.30a m to 8.30 am while Abhishekha, Maha Arathi will begin after 11 p m.    

Cultural shows, Bhajan Sandhya, Sandhya Arathi, Children Competition, Preaching, Dance, Drama, and Film Show will be the held at AB Shetty Hall, near Bunts Hostel here on the same day at 4.30 pm onwards.

Nadotsava and Srila Prabhupada Vyasa Puja Celebrations will be held on September 5.

The inter-school competition will be held on Augsut 12 and 15 and on September 4 on the occasion of the Janmasthmi, the president informed at the press conference.
