Mughal Road closed due to fresh snowfall


Jammu, Nov 4 (IANS): The Mughal Road connecting Rajouri district of Jammu region with the Kashmir Valley was closed to traffic on Wednesday due to fresh snowfall, an official said.

"Fresh snowfall has occurred in the Pir Ki Gali stretch of the Mughal Road during night," an official of Rajouri district administration told IANS by phone.

"The road has been closed for traffic till the weather improves," the official added.

On the other hand, despite rain and and scant snowfall at a few places, the Jammu-Srinagar national highway remained open for traffic on Wednesday.
