After domestic quarrel, man ends life by jumping into river

Mangaluru, Nov 4: A person, who left home in an angry mood in his motor bike after fighting with his mother and wife, committed suicide by jumping into River Phalguni near Gurpur, a little distance away from his home. The incident occurred on the night of Monday November 2.

Roshan Kumar (35), a resident of Devinagara, Kunjathbail, was operating an alluminium fabrication industry. At around 7.30 pm on Monday, he had some misunderstanding and quarreled with his mother and wife. Following this, he left home in an agitated mood in his motor bike. Some friends followed him a little while later, but by the time they reached the spot, Roshan had parked his motor bike near Maravoor, and jumped into the river, Kavoor station police said.

When the friends reached the spot, the motor bike engine was still running. With the help of fire brigade and locals, rescue effort was launched the same night but Kumar's body could not be found. On Tuesday afternoon, Kumar's mortal remains could be traced. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem, the police informed.

    sad incident. two faces of this incident. one is a short temper of Roshan and a stupid decision of ending his life just like that. Not acceptable. Another face is the extreme level of misunderstandings and fights occur at home with in laws and daughter in laws. they don't realize what the person will be going through while such incidents and messy environments at home. Now it's too late. whom to blame... gone is gone.
