But now the government is providing all sorts of help to the students in the field of education and also in other activities. India is growing and it is becoming stronger. With your precious talents you can bring fame to our district, state and the country. Teachers must encourage their students to show interest in sports activities. When you are into sports, you can stay fit and healthy. Along with education preference has to be given to art, sports and culture."
MLC Ivan D’Souza said, "We have a mindset which says that if we send our children to good schools, they will study well. But this kind of mentality has to change. Quality education has to be provided to students by quality teaching staff, be it in private or government schools."
