Gadkari backs Modi, Shah, seeks action against seniors

Nagpur, Nov 11 (PTI): Amid rumblings in BJP over Bihar poll rout and attack on its leadership by party veterans, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today strongly defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party President Amit Shah, saying they cannot be held responsible for the defeat.

Gadkari, a former BJP President, also demanded stringent action against those making "irresponsible" statements against Modi and Shah, who are facing flak from within the BJP and also allies for the NDA's massive defeat in the key Hindi heartland state.

"Modi and Shah alone can't be held responsible for the party's poor show in Bihar. It is a collective responsibility of all party office bearers and leaders," he said.

"I have told party chief Shah to initiate stringent action against those making irresponsible statements and causing damage to the party's image," Gadkari said.He said when the party faces defeat, everyone talks of a review but when it wins, no one demands analysis.

On BJP veterans L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Yashwant Sinha and Shanta Kumar issuing a statement demanding a thorough review of the reasons for the Bihar rout, an act seen as a revolt against the leadership of Modi and Shah, Gadkari said "We will talk to Advaniji on the issue."

He ruled out the possibility of Shah quitting his post following the debacle.Gadkari admitted that the grand alliance of JD(U), RJD and Congress has strengthened itself in Bihar.

"Our efforts now would be to increase our strength in the State," he said. He felt that post-Bihar polls, parties opposed to NDA may try to come together.

I do not think Nationally Congress can come back so soon with the whacking they got as UPA. They have done very well in Bihar lately but such percentage of success may not come in many other States for them to gloat over.
There is no strong leader and RG to become leader, he has to change his way of addressing his friends and opponents too. I had mentioned immediately after the UPA Debacle that Congress should forget the defeat and start recruiting\grooming young, educated people with modern ideas who can deliver speeches in the right perspective and without calling names, bring forth\elaborate on the mistakes that BJP is committing as ruling party and how they would handle the situation. This should be done nationally and all the time. Do not foul mouth BJP or any other political party like they are doing
You will definitely gain back your ground if you are useful to the people in your present position.
You have another 3.5 years still to groom young\middle aged candidates and make the older one to guide them in certain sphere.
Then only Congress can make inroads in the next election and by-elections.
Do not fall for BJP's tantrums aimed towards Congress which should be ignored completely.
Majority of people of India do not endorse divisive\communal Govts. using religion to divide, which does not develop the Nation but creates intolerance. This we have already witnessed within 1.5 years of BJP coming to power promising it will be "development" based Govt.
But they showed so far that they do not mean what they say.
    Here is your chance.....

Gadkari is a big chamatkari. His drivers, peons or servants can own companies without even knowing about it. Every media channel reported it.

So when Gadkari says something, he means chamatkar.

There is really no sense in backing some and opposing some in our Politics.
I strongly believe in issue based support to any party or individual.
Moreover, our politics is becoming bad to worse.
We better pray to God almighty to provide good political leadership to change the system from Top to bottom.

Hawa Ulta chal raha hai... Gadkari.. no one can swim against the tide...how strong he may be..In 2014 it was just anti incumbency factor and lots of fake and unfounded and unchallenged lies/promises made you to win Delhi and it can never be repeated and Indian electorate wont make that mistake again except few hard core bhakths......

Pradan mantti jan dhan yojana - who benefitted ..none..Average poor indian spent nearly two hundred rupees to open his bank account - Rs 80 for his photo and Rs. 5 for photocopying the documents, Another 100 for commuting from home to bank and bank too spent money on passbooks and printer.. Only passbook... no money has been deposited by the Central Govt. Initially before going to bank poor people were talking that they will receive Rs. 15 lakhs into their bank account as promised by Modi during election,, but they didn't get 15 paisa. They were made to spend Rs. 200/- This is how Modi govt works for poor.

Today Daal is selling at Rs. 250/- per kilo, Onions at 90 and tomato @ 80/- Petrol is expensive despite the import price is USD 40/- a barrel ...He cant fool the general public any more... Ulta hava will intensify and shall take the form of tornado and destroy BJP. Soon BJP mukth Bharath..is coming

    People,
The voice of dissent will be considered as anti-national in Autocratic rule.
Therefore, action can not be taken against Ruler & his chief. This is called internal party democracy.

What this puppet Gadkari said is 100% correct.

The deep decline of bjp started. This is like blessings from almighty God for the welfare of people of India. After creating havoc in the name of beef, gharvapsi etc the intelligent people of India shown exit door to these communal hate mongers. India can survive if it remains secular nation where all religion have their freedom to practice . Any attempt to make it Taliban is out rightly rejected by Hindu brothers. A great salute for all those who voted against bjp.
