Sharjah, Aug 13: Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah is gearing up to celebrate the 60th Independence Day of India.

The members of the Sangha and children will present colourful variety entertainment programmes. Hence all the members of the Sangha and Kannadigas in particular have been requested to participate in this patriotic occasion and show their respect towards Mother India.

There will be quiz competition and 'on the-spot-speech competition' for adults and patriotic songs competition and speech competition on 'My Favourite Leader" for children on the occasion.
 
The glittering function will be held on Friday August 17 at Hall # 2, Mubarak Center, Sharjah.  The function will start at 4 pm and would go on till 9 in the night.  The programme will conclude with gala dinner.
