One Direction pays tribute to Paris attack victims at concert

London, Nov 16 (IANS): Members of the British boyband One Direction during their "London Session" show paid homage to those killed in the terrorist attacks in Paris.

The intimate gig was held on Saturday where Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson asked the audience to join them in a one-minute silence, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Prior to the concert, the band already paid tribute to the victims via Twitter.

"We would like to send our thoughts and condolences to those who have been affected by the heartbreaking tragedy in Paris this weekend," read one tweet they sent out right after the attacks on Friday, the day they released their fifth studio album, "Made in the A.M.".

The bandmates also took to their own Twitter accounts to express concern over the attacks.

"Thoughts and prayers for those people involved in the situation that has occurred in Paris this evening. Very sad," wrote Horan.

"The world just lost peace its a scary place and it's hard to take I really hope everybody is ok pray for France," Payne added.
