Six dead in China's community arson


Beijing, Nov 19 (IANS): At least six people were confirmed dead and another three people injured at a fire that broke out early on Thursday at a residential community apartment in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Police believed it was an arson. The fire has engulfed 30 square meters of fire before it was put out, Xinhua reported.

The building was a dormitory of a furniture moving firm. Workers had brawl on Wednesday evening. A man surnamed Xie threatened to set fire in revenge, according to initial police investigation.
