Bomb scare leads to road closure in London


London, Nov 20 (IANS): A bomb scare over an abandoned car on central London's Baker Street on Thursday caused closures in the area, local police said.

Passengers at Baker Street Tube Station were evacuated at the rush hour. Roads were reopened after London's Metropolitan Police later declared it had been non-suspicious, Xinhua reported.

A controlled explosion was reportedly carried out at Baker Street Tube station after reports of the suspicious vehicle, according to local media reports.
