Dubai, Nov 24: 'Aatagara' Kannada movie created a new record in the Gulf. It has become the first ever Kannada movie to be screened in Salalah, Oman and it is also the first ever Kannada movie to be formally inaugurated in Dubai by Kannada film industry's maverick star Sadhu Kokila.

November 20 marked a special day for the Kannadigas in Dubai, as the multi-talented actor, director, musician Sadhu Kokila graced Galleria Cinemas by inaugurating Aatagara Kannada movie. He was warmly welcomed by Gulf Kannada movies distributor Deepak Somashekara, followed by a memento presentation by Kannada Koota President Sadan Das.

Sadhu Kokila began his talk by appreciating and thanking Deepak for his efforts in releasing Kannada movies in the Gulf. He also thanked all the Kannadigas and Kannada organizations for supporting him. He further encouraged the audience to watch all the Kannada movies released and stressed on the fact that Kannada movies are now coming with very good quality. He expressed his interest in discussing with the Kannada Film Industry personnel in seeing how he can support Deepak Somashekara by releasing more Kannada movies. Sukheesh Dwarakesh (son of legendary actor Dwarakesh) concluded the occasion by showing his gratitude to Sadhu Kokila for being the guest of honour. AATAGARA received an overwhelming response from the audience with a full house show.
