Mumbai, Aug 17: Security has been beefed up at the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) here following an anonymous call warning of an explosion there at 4.00PM on Thursday.

The main control room of the city police received the call from a public telephone booth at around 0930 hrs and tightened security at the railway station.

Senior police officials are at the spot and extra security arrangements have been put in place.

Apart from being a very busy terminus, the CST building is a world heritage site and also houses the headquarters of Central Railway.
