Muscat, Aug 19: The Mangalorean Catholic Center of the Parish, MCCP (Saints Peter & Paul Church – Ruwi) will be holding its Annual Drawing Competition 2007 for Members’ children on 31.08.2007 at 12.00 noon at the upper Parish Hall of Ruwi Church.
The main sponsor for this annual event is Mr. & Mrs. William D’ Souza & Family – Dubai, who was also the sponsor for last year’s drawing competition
Omantel is supporting MCCP as the main sponsor for all its 2007 –2008 events. Ideal Tailors, Muscat Pharmacy and Marmul Tours and Travels are the major sponsors of 2007 – 2008 events.
As informed by Philomena Moras, current Spiritual Events Coordinator of MCCP and coordinator for Drawing Competition 2007 to daijiworld.com team in Muscat, “we have formulated this year’s competition based on our annual theme ie ‘Good Family Better Society.’ This drawing competition, as we have designed other events of the year, will be an inspiration to our children to gather various ideas and present them in an art form, certainly in a unique way. We are expecting a great response and diversified art works from our children. ”
As officially announced registration should be done with Mrs. Philomena Moras (Telehone - 9233 8154 ) or Mrs. Leera Aranha (Telephone -9214 6413) on or before 29.08.2007 (9.00 pm).

General Rules for Drawing Competition:
- Drawing Competition will be held on Friday, 31.08.2007, in the Upper Parish Hall of Ruwi Church at 12.00 noon.
Duration: 60 minutes for Group A, B & C.
- 120 minutes for groups D, E & F.
- Drawing sheets will be provided by the organizers. Required drawing and coloring materials have to be brought by the participants
- Only One side of the Drawing Sheet should be used for drawing and coloring. Participants are requested not to write their names on the drawing sheets.
- Participants should be present fifteen minutes prior to the competition at the venue.
- Results will be published on the MCCP’s Church Notice Board.
- There will be three winners in each group. However, organizers reserve the right to reduce the number of prizes if adequate participants are not registered in a particular group.
- Prize Distribution date will be announced later date.
- Decision by the nominated Judge/s will be final and no further correspondence of any nature will be entertained by the Executive Committee.
