Mumbai, Aug 19: The ninth annual day celebration of Sri Gurudev Seva Balaga Maharastra Unit and Sri Vajramatha Mahila Vikas Kendra Maharastra Unit was held at Smt Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium, Kurla Bunts Bhavan, graced by Sri Odiyoor Swamiji Gurudevanand, recently.

Swamiji inaugurated the devotion, preaching programme and annual day celebrations, by lighting the lamp.

“Love has such a power that cannot be found anywhere.  Man is loosing his peace and bliss due to his sole objective of earning material wealth in life.  However life would be blissful provided one keeps aspirations of earning wealth or saving within his limits.  The use of wealth should be in proportion to the salt that we use everyday in our life.  Despite Sri Gurudev Seva Balaga has completed a decade of existence in Mumbai, the days have gone like mere nine days.  The love, reverence of the devotees here, seems to be beyond to explain.  The holy men should be engaged in bringing the society closer.  Moreover the excellence in upbringing and culture would prevail in the society, if the holy men and the laiety engaged in eternal bliss rather than amassing wealth through worship centres.  Further we would be like the guest in the society where we live, since we have kept ourselves from good deeds” said Odiyoor Swamiji.

Sundar L Shetty and his wife, proprietor of Ramdev Hotel, Sion, prostrated before the feet of Swamiji.  Sundar L Shetty and couple honoured Swamiji by offering fruits and flowers to Sri Mathanandamayee.
