Mangaluru, Dec 3: It was observed that a person was killed with a boulder near Poonja Wine Shop near Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus stand at Bijai in the city on Wednesday December 2.
The deceased has been identified as Sunil, aged between 25 and 30. More details are awaited. There is suspicion that Girish, an associate of Sunil, would have crushed him to death.
Sunil's body was found lying in a pool of blood opposite Kalpana Sweets near Poonja Wines. His head was found to have been smashed. A local named Sooraj filed a report about this incident in Urva police station.
The policemen strongly suspect that Girish, who used to sleep with Sunil at the spot, would have killed Sunil. They are searching for Girish.
