Mangaluru: Man falls to death at construction site

Mangaluru, Dec 3: A person slipped down from considerable height and lost his life in the city on Wednesday December 2. The victim has been identified as Prem Choudhary, working as bar bender at the under-construction site of 'Sahakara Sadana' behind petrol bunk near Rao and Rao Circle.

It is gathered that Prem was working near the spece earmarked for lift, when he fell down, suffered grievous injuries, and lost his life. The construction supervisor has been accused of failing to take safety measures for the workers.

On the basis of a complaint filed by Puttaraju, a case was registered in the city (south) police station.
