Doha, Dec 9: In the 2nd division of the 27th CDC Cricket Tournament 2015 Al Zaman Exchange trounced the hosts CDC by 137 runs. Being the first to bat Al Zaman Exchange scored a mammoth 242 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Sena was not out on 45 runs off 14 deliveries with 6 sixes and a boundary. Shafi was run out for 38 runs with 3 sixes and a boundary, while Rohan was not out on 24 runs with 3 sixes. Sandeesh and Sharief remained not out on 19 runs each.
Palitha took 3 wickets, Laxman 2 wickets while Mahesh and Sumeer took a wicket each.
In reply CDC lost wickets repeatedly and were finally all out for 105 runs in 16.5 overs. Opener Mahesh scored 21 runs with 2 sixes and a boundary while Sumesh scored 19 runs with a six and a boundary.
Sanjeeva and Shaji took 3 wickets each while Mahesh Sharief, Azeel, Ruhan, and Latheef took a wicket each

At the prize distribution ceremony, Kadir of CDC was the chief guest.
At the start a 2 minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect for the late Mohamed Al Shamlan who was a pillar of the Qatar Veterans’ League. As a permanent remembrance, it was announced that Fawad Rana, managing director of Qatar Lubricants (QALCO) had spontaneously agreed that the concluding tournament of the season sponsored by QALCO would henceforth be named Mohamed Alshamlan Memorial Cricket tournament.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by supporters and well-wishers. Over 300 prizes were given away to various players in the tournament.
The prize distribution ended with complimentary refreshments and a lucky draw for spectators.
Chidananda Nayak and his team, M Pallonji were kind enough to construct a stage for the prize distribution ceremony.
