Jiah Khan suicide: The CBI chargesheet has disturbing details

Mumbai, Dec 12 (IT) : The Jiah Khan death case has witnessed several developments over the last few days, and has opened up a can of worms as far as the late actor's life is concerned. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a supplementary chargesheet in the case. Jiah's boyfriend, actor Sooraj Pancholi, has been charged with abetment to Khan's suicide under the section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Several disturbing details have been leaked from the chargesheet in the last two days. Jiah, who was pregnant with Sooraj's child in 2012-13, had undergone a botched abortion.

It has been revealed that on January 14, 2013, Jiah met a doctor and informed that she had missed her periods. On January 15, her test reports confirmed that she was pregnant.
On January 16, Jiah and Sooraj paid a visit to the doctor and he prescribed the drugs Mifepristone and Misoprostol tablets, both of which are used in medical termination of pregnancy. After consuming these tablets, Jiah began bleeding continuously. Her doctor advised her to meet another doctor, says the chargesheet.

On January 19, Jiah's doctor received a call from Sooraj Pancholi that Jiah was sitting on the pot and 'half the stuff' (foetus) was stuck inside. Pancholi was advised by the doctor to admit Jiah to a hospital, says the CBI chargesheet.

Sooraj then called the doctor again and said that he had helped Jiah pull out the remaining stuff. This fact of abortion has been written by Jiah in her note.

On the day of her death, Jiah and Sooraj had a heated conversation over the phone. The call lasted about 400 pulses. Jiah was seen entering her house during this time. The calls between Sooraj and Jiah ended at around 10.54pm. After that, Sooraj sent about 10 messages to Jiah, but received no response from her, the chargesheet claims.

Jiah was later discovered dead in her apartment in Juhu.
