Dubai, Dec 14: Dubai's well-known entrepreneur from Mangaluru and an established singer himself, Harish Sherigar, director of Acme Building Materilas Trading LLC is gearing up to present 'Dhoom Dhamaka-2016', a grand stand-up comedy show for a noble cause, with the proceeds going to the underprivileged and the destitute. The proceeds from the show will be offered to a charity institution whose name will be announced later.

This time, Dhoom Dhamaka, in its third edition, will be presenting one of the greatest comedians of Indian Hindi cinema, the King of Comedy Johnny Lever along with his daughter Jamie Lever.
This mega hilarity event will be held on January 8 (Friday), 2016 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, Dubai at 6 pm.
The much awaited Dhoom Dhamaka 2016 will tickle your funny bone with mind blowing, blockbuster, live stand-up comedy with India's first stand-up comedian Johnny Lever along with his daughter Jamie Janumala and team.
Johnny Lever incorporates, references and observations from social media, politics, human behavior, pop culture, cultural affairs and technology, among other things which he effortlessly absorbs into his routine, and presents it in a way that it creates a laugh riot that is enjoyed by audiences of all age groups.
Jamie Lever has performed at The Comedy Store, Mumbai from 2012 as a stand-up comedian, and has given performances on 'Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali' on Sony Entertainment Television in 2013.
Special Attraction – Sammilan by Prathama Prasad Rao and Surya N Rao
'Sammilan' literally means coming together. The performance explores various shades and textures of Sammilan, coming together of the Indian classical dance forms, Kuchipudi and Kathak.
A vibrant Jugalbandi performance in which complicated rhythm cycles are explored as the dancers highlight the subtle nuances of their individual styles as well as demonstrate the common intricacies of the forms.
They together run Mahamaya Arts Foundation in Bengaluru. They received Nritya Shiromani Award at Cuttack international dance festival and also received National Excelence Award from the government of Orissa at the Shanti Festival Bhubaneswar. They have acted in the super hit Kannada movie Shree Sai just released recently.
They have to their credit performances in major dance festivals of India and on prestigious platforms in Europe, the Middle East, United States of America, Singapore and many more.
Prathama Prasad Rao is daughter of Vinaya Prasad, a renowned film actress from South India.
All in all, it is going to a first class family entertainment with a combined package of comedy, dance and musical for a noble cause.
