Dubai: Gulf Champions League mega cricket tournament on Feb 18-19

Dubai, Dec 17: Gulf Sports International Limited will present ‘Gulf Champions League 2016’, a mega cricket tournament in February 2016.

League level matches will be held on February 18 at Sevens Stadium at Dubai-Al Ain Road. Semi-finals and final will be held on February 19 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.

The winner will take home AED 60,000 while the runner-up will receive AED 30,000. Man of the Series, Man of the Match for final, Best Bowler and Best Batsman will also be awarded.

Gulf Sports International Limited (GSIL) was established in early 2015 by a group of enthusiastic cricket loving individuals from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.

The main motto of GSIL is to promote tennis ball cricket in the Gulf and thereby to encourage talents in this region. GSIL aims to present tournaments which are entertaining for the spectators. The organizers have said that high standards would be maintained during the tournament with attention given to every little detail.
