Udupi, Aug 26: A district-level legal and health awareness camp will be organised by Red Cross Society of India, in association with the district Legal Service Authority, Lions Club, Midtown and Shrikshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Society at Sri Bhavani Mantap of Sri Janardana Mahakali Temple here, on Sunday August 26 stated a press release.

Further according to the press release, the vice president of the District Red Cross Society, Basrur Rajeev Shetty states that the principal civil judge A M Ramchandraiah in the camp will hold forth a talk on a First Information Report (FIR). President of Bar Association, Mattar Rathankar Hegde will give an insight on Domestic Violence (Prevention) Act and K N Phaneendra will talk on Legal Services’ Authority Act and duties of the Authority.

At the camp noted psychologist Dr P V Bhandary will speak on the topic ‘General Mental Weakness’ among women. Principal district and sessions court judge K N Phaneendra will inaugurate the camp and Lion’s district governor Dr B S Nagarakash will preside over the programme ‘Dharmadarshi’ of Ambalapady temple.
 Dr N B Vijay Ballal and director of the Rural Development Programme S Seetharam Shetty will be the chief guests on the occasion.
