Jet Airways bus crashes into Air India plane at Kolkata airport


Kolkata, Dec 22 (NDTV): A Jet Airways bus crashed into an Air India aircraft parked at the Kolkata airport this morning, damaging it badly.

There were no passengers in the aircraft when the incident took place at around 6.30 am.

The Jet bus apparently went out of control and hit the aircraft. The driver, Momin Ali, is being questioned and medically examined.

The Air India flight was reportedly scheduled to go to Silchar in Assam.

Officials of Air India, Jet Airways and the Kolkata airport are at the spot.

    The drivers of these buses in airports are often rash & not trained.

    In this case, Jet needs to examine driver whether he was drunk on duty or hangover? Why did he loose control of low floor heavy engine bus with speed control?

    The drivers attitude towards passenger is very bad. Jet Airways need to train tier drivers to be polite and improve their behavior.

    This incident might have incurred mainly due to negligence of the driver or the engine fail.The incident is really alarming and need a detailed investigation..
