Mangalore, Aug 30: Kannada and Culture department and the DK district Kannada Sahitya Parishat (KSP) will jointly organize Suvarna Samskriti Utsav in association with the Kadri Shri Manjunath Temple at the Rajangana of Kadri temple here on Saturday, September 1 and Sunday September 2, informed S Pradeep Kumar Kalkura president of KSP.

Kalkura was speaking at a press conference held here, on Wednesday August 29.

He informed that, B Nagaraj Shetty the district-in-charge minister will be inaugurating the programme while N Yogish Bhat MLA of Mangalore will be presiding over the programme on Saturday September 1, he added.

Moreover, according to him the valedictory programme will be held on September 2 at 5 pm.

Samskritika Sourabha a cultural programme will start on Saturday August 1 at 5.30 pm, he stated. Karnataka classical music concert will be presented by S Shrinivasa Moorthi and team. A dance programme will also be presented by Sudheer Rao and team from Kodavoor on the occasion.
