BJP legislator in Jharkhand dies


Ranchi, Jan 4 (IANS): Bharatiya Janata Party legislator Raghunandan Mandal has died of heart attack, party sources said on Monday.

Mandal, 55, suffered the heart attack at his ancestral home in Korka village of Godda district, around 500 km from Ranchi, on Sunday midnight. He was taken to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. 

Mandal represented Godda in the Jharkhand assembly. 

Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oran, former chief minister Arjun Munda and others condoled the death of the legislator.
