Mumbai, Sep 1: Ryan International School celebrated many honours on September 1, 2007 at Shri Bhaidas Mangala Lal Auditorium in Mumbai. It has bagged many feathers in its cap; the second best educational institution honour in the west zone at the global level, and it is also entitled to the achievement that the education Institution stands tall at the all India level and stands top in Maharasthra as the government of Maharasthra recognizes the institution as the best institution.



Dr Augustin Francis Pinto, the working president of Ryan International Group of Schools and Saint Xavier's Group of Schools, presided over the function and said, "All children of our country should be educated to compete at the global level and this mission should have the topmost priority in the national agenda."

Dr Pinto added that parents, besides teachers, should do their best to create media awareness among children. Children develop culturally enriched lives only if parents spare their time with children adequately.




He futher said that It is the responsibility of parents to see to it that their children develop leadership qualities. All children of the country will be educated, only if parents love other children equally, and share their wealth of learning. The country would progress when the people realize their responsibility instead of blaming or pointing at politicians for illiteracy. Parents should be of creative mindsets and should spare their time for the overall development of their children.





Jitender Balakrishnan, deputy managing director of IDBI,  Dilip Thakore, founder-editor of Education World magazine and Business India, Anil Sanghvi of CSBC Awaz, Charles Asis, business editor of The Times of India were present in the debate held on 'The role of media and children's leadership in the overall development of the future of the nation.'

R Prasad introduced the delegates; Ryan A Pinto welcomed and presented momentos and bouquet. Director Grace Pinto read the scriptures. Prasad Ruparel, Margaret Coelho and Vandita Markar compered the programme. Shilpa Chandu proposed a vote of thanks.

    I heard Rayan International is a very good, well reputed school. The Managing Director Mrs. Pinto is a God fearing lady. May god bless them in abundance
