Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (NR)

Bangalore, Sep 3: Against the backdrop of city’s global reputation as an IT-friendly city, the Bangalore City Station has now become the first-ever Wi-Fi railway station in the country. This in effect means that a person can now access the Internet if he is carrying a laptop or is using a high-end mobile with him, stated informed sources here. However, the said facility is limited to platform No1 currently, added the sources.

Similar is the case with the air-conditioned posh railway retiring rooms, 'The Milestone'. This has also been provided with Internet facility at a nominal cost.  The facility has been done by RailTel Corporation which is taking up the venture at 60 major railway stations across the nation.

So Hurrah it is ‘Happy Browsing Hours’ for folks in the city.
