Mangalore, Sep 3: Ravishree Art Promotion Foundation will organize Varna Vinayaka painting workshop and exhibition from Friday September 7 to Wednesday September 12 in Vidyadayini Complex at Honnakatte Junction near Kulai here, said Ramesh Hebbar president of the foundation here on Monday September 3.

The programme will be conducted in two phases; one is three-day workshop of painting which will be inaugurated on Friday September 7.  The second is the painting exhibition, which will be inaugurated on Monday September 9. This will be displayed for three days from the day of the inauguration.

It is intended to give opportunities to the budding talents of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. The majority of the participants are the final year students from department of fine arts, said Hebbar. Freshers, who are in search of jobs can also participate in the workshop, he added.

Every participant will be given two painting canvas, colors. The topics for painting are already given.

The budding artists who will participate in the workshop are Vikas Gatti, Sandeep Bangera, Chandra Shekhar D, Naga Prasad, Jayaram PS, Dayesh Karkera, Suresh P, Dayesh Karkera, Suresh P, Harish Naga, Raghavaendra K Amin, Rubi, Harshitha and Reshma.
