Kundapur, Sep 4: The inaugural function of Prathibha Karanji at cluster level was held under the joint auspices of Kodi Urdu Higher Primary School, Beary’s Sea Side Public School and the department of education in Beary’s Sea Side Public School here recently.

Presiding over the function, Janab Hajji master Mohammed, president of the Beary’s group of educational institutes said that the scheme, popularly known as Prathibha Karanji, will provide the right stage at the right time for the right group.

Particularly for the students, to exhibit their inherent talents for their future growth and progress, Mohammed added.

Delivering the keynote address, Dinakar Shetty explained the salient features of the scheme.

The function began with the prayer in chorus by the girls of Beary’s School. Rehana Begum, headmistress, welcomed the gathering. Flavia Rebello, principal, proposed the vote of thanks. Santosh Shetty, teacher, compered the program.

More than eight hundred contestants from twenty seven schools participated in this annual function for 2007-08.
