Mangalore: Kadri Ground Rocks with Star-studded Show

Mangalore, Sep 5: The star-studded music-and-dance show 'Star Nite', jointly organized by Kadri Cricketers, Friends' Circle Kadri and Kadri Youth Friends on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashthami on Kadri ground late night on Tuesday, September 4 drew a very large crowd, in spite of nagging late-season showers.

Popular multi-lingual music director, Mangalore's own Guru Kiran, Sanjana (Pooja) Gandhi of 'Mungaru Male' fame, Digant Manchale of 'Kadala Mage' and 'Mungaru Male' fame, Tarun of 'Sixer' fame, Sitara of 'Geleya' fame and choreographer Harsha were the main attractions of the show.

The show went on up to midnight but the public seemed to be asking for more and more. Film musicians entertained the gathering. Son of the soil Guru Kiran responded to public demand and obliged his fans by singing songs.

Sanjana Gandhi was honoured on the organizers' behalf by Lion Kripa Alva, former city mayor Diwakar, former local corporator Ganesh Rao and Congress leader Suresh Ballal.
