Nine killed in Udhampur road accident

Jammu, Jan 15 (IANS): At least nine people were killed and 15 injured on Friday when a bus fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district, police said.

The accident took place at Ramnagar, 65 km from Udhampur town, when the driver lost control over the bus, Deputy Inspector General of Police Surinder Gupta told IANS.

The injured were shifted to a Ramnagar hospital. The bus was going from Ramnagar to Basantgarh in Udhampur district.
