Kolkata, Jan 16 (NDTV): Three members of a family -- a woman and her two teenaged sons -- were found murdered in their apartment in south Kolkata's upmarket Palm Avenue area today.
The woman's husband, who was found lying in the house in critical condition, has been moved to hospital. Sources say he has reportedly told the police that he killed his wife after she attacked their sons.
Bodies of Jessica Fonseca (43) and her twin sons - Class 8 Students Tarren and Joshua -- were found lying in their bedroom with their throats slit by a police team that rushed to the spot after getting a complaint about the family not responding to phone calls.
The woman's husband, Neil Fonseca (49) is being treated at hospital.
The family was out for a dinner last evening. After returning, the couple reportedly had a heated argument.
Police have recorded Mr Fonseca's statement. Further investigation is on.
