Mumbai: Bantara Sangha holds anniversary celebrations

Mumbai, Jan 18: Bantara Sangha, Andheri Bandra local committee celebrated its tenth anniversary at Bantara Bhavana Radhabhai T Bhandary auditorium, Kurla east on Saturday January 16 evening.



































Bantara Sangha president Karnire Vishwanatha Shetty presided over the programme. Executive president of Tunga group of companies, Sudhakar S Hegde was the chief guest. Former president of the Sangha, B Vivek Shetty, Aikala Harish Shetty, Bollywood film director Madhukar Bhandarkar were the guests of honour.

Honorary chief secretary Ulthooru Mohandas Shetty, honorary treasurer CA I R Shetty, joint secretary Kishore Kumar Shetty Kuthyar, Women's wing executive president Latha Jayarama Shetty, youth wing executive president Vivek V Shetty, vice president B R Poonja, joint secretary Dr Bhaskar G Shetty, youth wing executive president Sagar D Shetty and others were present on the dais.

Bunts achievers advocate R C Shetty, Sunder S Hegde, Dr Vijaya D Shetty, Prakash Bhandary, Lion Jayaram L Shetty, Dr Poornima S Shetty, Rohith D Shetty, Nirishka A Shetty, Prajwal T Shetty, students who
secured highest marks in SSC and HSC examinations and winners of Chinnara Chilipili talent competitions were felicitated on the occasion.

Andheri Bandra local committee executive president Gunapal R Shetty Aikala welcomed those present. Prashanti D Shetty and Anitha Shetty said the prayer. Mundappa S Payyade gave the keynote address. Andheri Bandra local committee women's wing executive president Sujatha Gunapal Shetty Aikala explained the annual report. Secretary Ganesh S Shetty presented the annual report. Dr Poornima Shetty, Vidya Ballal and Nidhi Shetty compered the cultural programme. Bhoomi Shetty, Adhithi Shetty, Saksha Shetty and Ganesha thanked everyone. Ashok Pakkala compered the programme. Treasurer CA Sunil K Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

Local committee children, youth and women's wing held 'Bantakale Spardhe', presented attractive dances and Bale Thelipale programmes.
